Tuesday • June 16, 2026
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Belmont Village Senior Living
1035 Madison St.
Oak Park, IL 60302
Parkinson’s disease affects not only those diagnosed, but everyone who loves and supports them. This session is designed to equip both patients and caregivers with practical knowledge and the confidence to take an active role in care.
We will kick things off with an overview of key safety considerations, including a walkthrough of the Parkinson’s Foundation’s Hospital Safety Guide, before introducing the role of exercise in managing symptoms. After a mid-session movement break, we will explore the benefits of exercise further and share how occupational, physical, and speech therapy can be transformative parts of a proactive care plan.
